The Federal Reserve Board has issued a letter informing financial institutions it supervises and their service providers that the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has identified essential critical infrastructure workers in the financial services sector. These workers are identified in the document "Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce: Ensuring Community and National Resilience in COVID-19 Response."
The Fed said that CISA, in collaboration with other federal agencies and the private sector, developed an initial list of essential critical infrastructure workers to help state and local officials in their work to protect their communities, while ensuring continuity of functions critical to public health and safety, as well as economic and national security.
