The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is reestablishing its Academic Research Council, Community Banker Advisory Council, Consumer Advisory Board, and Credit Union Advisory Council. Each of these entities is a continuing committee being reestablished for the purposes of compliance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act and applicable statutes.
The board and councils are each being established by the filing of a charter that will expire two years after the filing date unless renewed by appropriate action. The bureau's notices also include information on the purpose of each entity.
